Eagle eye investigators who are looking at the flight simulator taken from the home of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 Captain, Zaharie Ahmad Shah, have discovered that data(s) had been deleted from it, Malaysia's acting transportation minister said on Wednesday.
What the revelation means is getting clear. Deleted files from the pilot's simulator could mean it had been used to practice diverting the plane and flying it to an unfamiliar airport, experts said.
One expert said desktop pilots don't usually delete such files because they are small and often kept to gauge progress, said Jay Leboff, owner of HotSeat, a simulator manufacturer.
