Requirements
The candidates for these positions must be
purpose-driven with aggressive marketing skills, the right attitude and
computer literate.
He/she must be a graduate of the social sciences.
Experience will be an added advantage.
Job Position: Freelance Reporters
Requirements
Freelance reporters are needed to cover politics,
business, the arts, sports, entertainment, tourism and hospitality.
Job Position: Marketing Advert Officer
Requirements
The ideal candidates must be working in the Advert
department of a newspaper or client service department of an Advertising
agency.
He/she must have a minimum of five years experience and
be able to produce a track record of sales.
The Advert officer should be local to Abuja.
The minimum educational qualification is a first degree
or HND.
Job Position: Senior Reporter
Requirements
The candidate for this position must be based in Port
Harcourt and already working with a national newspaper for at least the
past five years.
The ideal candidate must be a graduate of mass
communication, politics or economics.
The applicant must have in-depth knowledge of the
politics and economy of the Niger Delta region.
He must have excellent contacts with key players in
politics, industry and civil society.
Job Position: Deputy Editors (Business, Politics, Back of the Book)
Requirements
Candidates for this position must be tested journalists
with at least 10 years experience, the last three of which must have been
spent as desk heads.
The applicants must be fine writers with in-depth
knowledge of the relevant fields.
They must also be good team leaders.
Job Position: Assistant Editor
Requirements
The candidate for this position must be a tested
journalist with at least 7 years experience.
The applicant must have excellent contacts with key
players in politics, industry and civil society.
He must also be a good team leader.
