The exercise is yet to commence in Bauchi.
The Bauchi State Chairman of the People Democratic Movement, PDM, Abdullahi Jibo, said on Tuesday in Bauchi that lack of funds had stalled the party's membership registration in the state.
Mr. Jibo, who stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Bauchi, said though materials for the exercise were available, money had not been released for funding the exercise.
"We have the materials at hand, but we are lacking logistics to transport them to the various local government areas.
"We will wait until funds are available, then a new date will be fixed for commencement of the exercise,'' he said.
Mr. Jibo said the exercise would not commence until funds were released from the party's headquarters. He said whenever the exercise began, there would be extra days to recover lost ground.
The exercise, scheduled for March 17 to 23, was to take place in all the 20 local government areas of the state.
The PDM was formed by associates of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar last year. Mr. Abubakar is now a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
